Systemax Vitality Desktop PC Review
Like a lot of inexpensive, complete PC systems, the Systemax Vitality Desktop is a great choice for a lot of things, especially basic computer functions
.
However, it does lack the graphics capabilities that most of the systems in this class seem to lack. However, for the basic, average consumer, this computer is one that is more than adequate.
Yes, this computer is said to be an inexpensive, yet high quality option. However, at around $1000, it is priced more in the low to mid-range than the inexpensive range. But for the price, you are getting a high quality system.
This is a system that features Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor, which is essentially their answer to the AMD central processing units that have dominated the market for a while. It also features a 1.86 GB hard drive which means that it performs really well for the price range.
A lot of inexpensive PC models do not come with a lot of features, but the Systemax Vitality is not one of those. Besides the basics, this PC comes with both a wireless mouse and a wireless keyboard which are nice because they are more practical and cleaner looking than a mouse and keyboard that both need to be plugged in. You have a lot more range and flexibility with the wireless version. There is also a TV tuner.
However, as mentioned, this computer leaves a lot to be desired in terms of graphics. For most tasks, this is not a problem. Normal graphics needs do not require high functioning graphics capabilities. However, if you want to do some computer gaming, you will really notice that the graphics are not what they should be. This is easily fixable though and you can purchase an upgrade after you get the computer and install it yourself.
The fact that you can upgrade the Systemax Vitality fairly easily is a real selling point. A lot of PC’s are not easy to upgrade because the manufacturers may not give you a lot of room to do so. This, however, is not the case with this PC. The case is easy to remove and additional features and upgrades are easy to do yourself.
The Systemax Vitality is a good, inexpensive PC that suits most needs. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and boasts a 1.86 GB hard drive which makes its overall performance pretty good. It also has a good amount of RAM, a TV tuner, and a wireless mouse and keyboard. The Systemax Vitality is also easy to upgrade so if something is sub-par you can always upgrade it, as is the case with the graphics capabilities. This is a good computer that is priced rather reasonably, you should check it out here.
